Annual General Meetings
The Society strives to protect the unique quality of The Close for future generations.
Over the years the Society has been very active in efforts to reduce traffic flow as well as providing financial support to the Cathedral towards a number of projects, most recently the replacement lighting along the Broad Walk path.
The Society is a membership organisation and holds an Annual General Meeting, normally in Spring. The 2023/24 AGM has been held on 25 April 2024 at the Medieval Hall. The Society also arranges an annual lectures in spring and autumn.
This year’s next lecture provisionally planned for early July 2024.
