Mid-August 2024 Salisbury Cathedral circulated a pamphlet about their planning application for converting Leaden Hall. The Society’s trustees feel that this needs some corrections and explanations, not least reiteration that the Society is fully supportive of Chapter’s ambitions. The issue is how to achieve those without avoidable harm to heritage assets of national importance.
